Step 1- Double check your backups. Check your previous backup and run a backup right now if you have not done so.
Step 2- Test generator. If you have a generator, make sure you test it.
Step 3- Power down. Power down and unplug any unnecessary equipment.

To that, I would add:

Configure your computers to shutdown cleanly in the event of an unexpected power failure, and test unplugging your UPS from the wall outlet to make sure the shutdown works properly (a recent test I ran did NOT work!).
